Let's observe a nest we removed (now that the house finches have migrated away)

Let's observe bugs: a fly, a bee and silver fish. Then we add food
coloring to the dead silver fish and bee. Magnifying glass!! Wow!

Race track suit!

One of Lynn's girlfriend had given this number to Laurel a couple of
years ago. She found it right on the nick of time!

Her first time wearing it and she is cute as a botton! And just plane
grown up!!!!!! Geeeez!

We have discovered Univision's dancing with the stars. And it was a blast!

Hopefully this will help with out Spanish and Latin culture exposure ;)

laurel is fearless! she enjoyed jumping off the edge into the pool wearing a swimming ring floater around her waist (un tubo!), like it was none's business.   we are so ready for swimming lessons! 

MH Garden tour weekend

We had our little sunny patch featured at the Montecito Heights Garden
Tour this year. It was our first time. Our house turns 50 this year!
It seemed fitting.

It's our favorite neighborhood event.

Stella slept over Friday night too!
