Letter for me?!
After trying to eat a loaf of bread as big as she is! She got to enjoy
a nice note full of fun stickers!!! Which are now populating any
surface around the house.
Thank you Mary! We needed the brake to make yummy anniversary dinner!
Happy 8th to us! Cheers to you lady grandma! ;)

Plant it and they will come!
If you plant california native plants you get a cool show of native
bug species to pollenize (apparently not a word) them.
Here are 5 sphinx moths. They are also know as hummingbird moths. And
it wasn't until we saw them flying around the front garden (at night)
from flower to flower that we got why its called that way. It really
sounds and looks like a hummingbird!
They are the fastest insect for its kind. Up to 12 (?) mph in flight!
According to wiki.
Laurel and I spent a good chunk of one evening observing them and Jeff
was who discovered them busy in the garden one night. Yay! Family bug
action!

spring in the garden
I've shown some of these pictures already...
But I am reposting so that they tell the whole story together :)
Our neighbor Brian asked "what will it take to make my garden front to look as good as yours"
I said "ASK!! I've been dying to plant it!" :)
I also made a Laurel tippy with our x-mas tree trunk and twine for the scarlet runner beans to grow on!
And added twin to climb from the ground to our railing at the entry for purple pod bean pole vines to climb!
Yay! Beans!
Yay! Purple!
YAY! SPRING!!!!

What a day of delicious food Sunday was! And Laurel enjoyed it thoroughly!
We really have to buy a full ration for her on all foods. She eats like a champ!
