Sunday morning rituals

Are so enjoyable.

Farmers market: laurel got to choose the Brussels sprouts. Sample all
color grapes, emerald gem pluot, and her old time favorite the
pomegranate are back!

As always jumping in front of the orange wall is the way to end the show!

Strawberry monster!

She can eat strawberries like nones business! A few months back it
was a pound a day!

And as we are driving to meet friends and she's eating her berries a
red convertible mustang passes by us and she says: "broken. Dah dah.
That car is broken"

Yes! It's missing the roof! You're right! Said jeff. ;)

So fun!

Frogtown art walk

We had a very busy and fun day. The second half was at the LA river's
frogtown art walk. Our dear local band 'the I see hawks' where
playing at our good friends office. Nice space. Right by the famous
LA river.


We got to see tons of friends that we had not seen in a long time too!

LA's super awesome airshow!

We had a very exciting day here. The space shuttle did an insane flyover LA. Really low and looping around the city a lot. Luckily the roof at our offices in Hollywood had great views of the shuttle!

It was transported on top of a special NASA 747 jet. And 2 jet fighters were escorting it. Quite the spectacle!

A friend took that amazing shot of City Hall and the shuttle. Can't take credit for it. the rest are Jeff's, my coworkers and myself.

Day 6: the beach!!!!

Finally we sunk our little toes in the sand! But we are between
storms. The sun was happily out. The wind and high surf/rip tides
where in full force. But we enjoyed it. And after we all enjoyed
fried fish and clam strips. Yes Laurel has had clams twice in the
trip!! She ate it the Sunday in grandmas clam bake!
