Smashing pumpkin

We got Laurel a handful of 'her size' pumpkins ... That lasted 2 minutes as decoration before they got smashed thru the guardrail and onto the concrete below.

But she makes up for it in cuteness and awesome outfit!

"Baby"

Loves looking at her pictures and says "baby" or "behbee"

Today the outfit was a struggle. Wanted a summer dress. But I impose a long sleeve to go under it. And well, the dress was no longer ok for her. Finally had to force a second layer tshirt. She did however happily added all 3 of her hair clips to her outfit!

Socks by choice!

This morning I left the house at 6 (for my tue at 7 am meetings) and so as its now routine Jeff does all the baby stuff. But he warned me "check out the socks when you pick her up... She wouldn't have it any other way"

"Bebe" she says to her pictures.

She is also enjoying her first taste of raspberries... I still remember the first time I had them, I was 6 (?) and visiting our Tia Olga in up-state NY (near buffalo) she had a wild shrub growing near the woods. Amazing property they had.

I recently bought a wild california raspberry and blackberry to create a thicket at the base of our slope. Hope the birds leave me some for jams and pies!

When Laurel sees out little orange cherry tomatoes on the vine that's what she says.

She also enjoyed a quick snack with my homemade dates, walnut and banana bread. Noom nom!

While I cleaned the car she enjoyed the trunk... And earlier she took her nap 2 hours early... Passed out in stroller with cheese in hand!
