Go Dodgers! May the force be with you!

Thanks to a work connection of Leigh we got the most amazing seats for
Friday night dodger's game against the San Diego padres. It was also
"star wars night" and did I say our seats had an all you can eat for
free perk too?!!!

So spoiled!

The dodgers had an easy yet exciting win and as its now costume Friday
night home games end in fire works!

Thank you Leigh and Corin!!! So much fun!

State quarter collection

A long time ago we started collecting the state quarters as they
landed in our hands. Jeff got me the map so we could keep track and
with it I learned more about USA's history and geography.

As a surprise Jeff had it framed for me and he and laurel gift wrapped
it in red white and blue stripes. Adorable.

The other most amazing thing that happened was that jeff asked laurel
to help him find an American flag sticker in a craft store isle that
was full of patriotic stickers. Every state represented. Many many
different counties too. She picked one and handed it to jeff. It was
the Dominican Republic!

He couldn't believe it! Things happen for a reason!

Thank you jeff and laurel! I'm a happy gringa!!! ;)

Now this is a weekend!

Good looking dah dah and sun flowers and a relaxing evening of picnic
and music at the Huntington gardens. We now have a little family
photographer!

LCV is fun!

Specially saving a butterfly. We've heard about it many times :)

We saved the day!

We rescued our hummingbird (lady Allen) trapped in one of our skylights!

It was very exciting for Laurel, and I'm sure mrs Allen knew we were
going to save her. Just as we feed them and care for them too ;)

NHM play date

We met Locke and parents for a play date at the nat hist museum. Had
to cut our fun short as laurel developed a fever. But a little bath
and a Popsicle can be magical :)

Home sick Monday

After fevers throughout sunday and all night monday. Monday turned
out to be more of a fun day than a sick day. I am so not complaining!
;)

She revs her own engine!

The farmers market ballon guy blinked once after laurel asked for a
car. Then whipped out a "bel air" (1957 according to abuelo Victor)
with custom colors and Disney cars face! Well worth $8 ;)

He digs out the crumbling wall corner. One step further into home and
garden improvements.

She really is trying to sing and speak Spanish. I hope we continue to
get better and more at it!!!!
