I want the cars cake and the princess one too. For my bday. That's what I want!

Forcing spring flowers

I had to trim off 2 partially broken branches of my peach tree that
where full of buds. It would have been a shame to throw them out. So I
put on my Martha Stewart on and "forced" the branches to bloom. It
took 2 weeks. And the first bloom appeared at the same time as the
ones on the peach tree too!

So I didn't really forced it.

It really doesn't get that cold here to make a false spring feel indoors.

But I got it to keep going! Can't wait for the hot pink double petals
to explode inside our home!

Ikebana

Mi mami siempre hace arreglos con inspiración en la tradición japonesa
de ikebana. Este fue inspirado en mi mami ;)

Las hojas y flores han sido colectadas en nuestras caminatas por el vecindario.

She's got my lips!

We learned this while we played make up this weekend for the fist time.

The upper lip is too tiny for the lower one and a real messy cutie was
happy to share kisses!

She's also loving her hello kitty pink pearl necklace. A girly girl
is weaving herself in to the car monkey!

my little scientists

from a hint by her teacher Mayra, who mentioned she seemed very interested in science projects i got this little science kit for xmas.

she loves it! she brings it out often for us to "make science" 

here she is creating new colors from food coloring + water ... what a fun mess! 

and the one we are together we are making "dancing raisins": club soda and raisins, the carbonated bubbles raise them up to the surface and it pops and they go down, hence dancing up and down!
