Snow! More fun!

Here is another batch of snow in the sequoias.

Snow! On the sierras!

We spent 3 lovely nights in Kaweah, three Rivers. At the foothills of
the Sierra Nevada and the entrance to sequoia national park. We spent
good part of one day playing in the snow.

Laurel couldn't wait to "meet it". And once she did it was love at
first sight. Followed by cruel cold reality. But once the bones got
warm again she was back on!

noche buena and xmas day

We had a lovely gathering of friends for the 24th and a very relaxed
day to follow. We lounged around on our pjs and enjoyed soft music and
left overs.

A geese pond and a nativity scene with so much detail that baby Jesus
has not yet arrived!

Hola Santa!

Yay! We got to meet Santa again!

She was sooooooo happy! So happy! Squealed after and gave me a huge hug.

Then passed out as soon as we all got in the car.

Jeff took the pix. He didn't wanted to be seen with Santa. Guess he
is too old now ;)

First time for both laurel and I! ;)

Yay!! So happy.

Trick or treat 2014!

We went trick or treating around our neighborhood. She had fun and we
walked with the handful of parents around with little kids.

This morning she sampled some of her loot and confirmed she does not
like candy! Strawberry nerds, Reese's cup, green lollipop... Nope ...
Got exited for coconut in mounds.... Nope.

Then she found a peanut butter granola bar that her teacher gave her
as her treat and said: "this is my favorite candy"!!!!!

Día de los Muertos

The Kids got to go on a field trip to Olvera Street, the original
mexican pueblo settlement of Los Angeles. Jeff was one of the parents
to help usher the kids. They took the light rail line to and from
school.

They had a blast and all got on a burro! Fake one ;)

Pumpkin patch part 2

Lots of room to run around, star ponies, and a house made out of pumpkins!

By the way. That's her oldest little friend Teven, who we don't see
much any more. But seems like they are still super close! They had a
blast ;)

This fun day was for Locke's 3rd birthday. So nice!
