Founders keepers!
She's picking out all the starburst in bright colorrs. No to pale pink (watermelon)
Monkey's likes and dislikes
She likes mismatched socks (specially one aqua and one magenta). But you all knew that.
Dislikes to have her pjs off and clothes put on in the mornings. No matter if she chose them.
Likes to make a lot of lather on her hands in the tub ... Doesn't use it much elsewhere though!
Dislikes to have her sleeves rolled up to wash her hands. Can't wait to put them back down, often getting them wet anyways!
Likes to tell Negro to get "down". And to stop it "top-it".
Dislikes to have dirty hands from food. But doesn't like it if you then try to wipe food of her face.
Likes to wipe her blue-penguin Pablo's tush every morning on my night table. Guess I better set him a changing station there.
Dislikes to have her nails trimmed or filed. But she knows she's being silly so her squirms and screams easily turn into laughter. Still not an easy job. So it doesn't happen as often as it should.
Likes to wave bye-bye to the views of downtown when we come home (there is a nice spot overlook on the corner just before we get home) "Bye bye down" she says.
Dislikes the feeling in her hands of some textures on food. But if you give her a fork she will eat them easier, if she didn't touch them first.
Likes to say "No" to almost any question you ask, just to buy herself time to think about it!
Dislikes to have her ears cleaned.. Not sure how long its been!
Likes to suck the berry flavored kid's toothpaste... Doesn't do much else with the brush... Its a work in progress!
Likes to fake wipe herself and throw tissue paper in the toilet to join in the action. Then we wave good bye to the stuff as we flush.
And finally likes to shake her bootie and raised her hands to any music no matter if we are at a store or if its from a movie.
She's up!
... And we are now over 1.5 hour late to the bday ;) at least she will be rested!

I'm 19th months today! + 17 to 19 MONTH LETTER!
You are now in charge of your look and you can make some
awesome combinations! It’s a lot of fun, although getting dress usually means a
meltdown, even if you’re about to wear what you chose… it’s like you would much
rather stay naked… which provably is the case…
Your favorite thing to do is put on 2 different socks, a magenta and an aqua, is the favorite combo. And the color
purple seems to be of your liking. You are even saying ‘puhrple’... Oh man! if we could avoid the pink all the time
phase from kicking in!
Your still a great eater and now your becoming a “care taker” as well. You have adopted a stuff animal penguin form the Backyardigan’s character named Pablo. You like to put Pablo to feed him and have him nap (on his belly of course) then you cover him with a cloth (as if it was a blanket) over and over again… usually saying ‘top-it’ as in “Stop it” (which got us a bit worried as to what’s going on a at day care). You do the same thing with uncle Justin’s old Kooza doll and a few other stuffed animals, like of Scooby Doo.
Still in love with the 10 Little Kittens and Mi Casa books. But now your crazy about text, A "Apple" you say with great certainty and very appropriately... but the is B - D - N - O - L ... all random to any letter. Your counting until 6 in English... not yet in Spanish.
