Memorial Memorial Day!

Thanks Fletcher's for hosting a very fine evening. I took time out
(as i pushed laurel around) to just listen to the chatter thought the
evening and every time all you could hear was laughter. Good times.
Thanks and love you guys!

She did so good on the trip. So good!

And couldn't have been more adorable. People were "Ohhh and ahh" as
she walked by with her "buho PAC PAC"

She was also a dream on the flights. We are so lucky!

Roy turns 80!!!!

We are so happy we came to celebrate Grandpa Roy's 80th birthday!

It was wonderful to see everyone and we hope we can see all the
families more often. We know its tough in everyone to see us so far in
between.

And yes. Laurel is very LA she managed to get rice and beans at the
Italian restaurant! (Risotto and Canelli)

LCV: we did it!

As part of the city wide yearly event of volunteers for school
improvements known as 'Big Sunday' this past Saturday at La Casita
Verde: families, staff, board members, volunteers from another school
all came together to help us complete the plantings of over 160 plants
plus spread around 2 truck loads of soils and mulch of various kinds!

The veggie boxes are overflowing with delicious soil, hedges now are
growing to cover the entire perimeter of the gardens, the scented path
was refreshed and a we made a new sensory garden >so happy about that
idea ;)

We also now have a mud pool! And soon we will have a mud kitchen to join it!

The kids are learning about composting too!

Man I'm good ;). !!!!!
